On the first page of my school report card, my teacher had written a single, resigned note: “Spends his time daydreaming.” That said it all.
From Concept to Product
The story begins with a home-built trading application using a Swarm concept to spot decorrelations. Watching endless clouds of crypto tickers dance across the screen, a thought finally crystallized: “AI, oh my AI: can you tell me whether it's possible to…?”
For someone bold enough to work in duet with my favorite “yes-man” machine, the idea turned into a few lines of code: “Topological Soliton”.
With an answer in hand, the real work began: patiently tracing back all the questions I had never thought to ask — and there were many.
Mea Culpa
I had no idea that what I wanted to do was supposed to be impossible. A quick literature review would have told me so. But then again, from day one to today: “Spends his time daydreaming.” Some things never change ;)
